Semi Finals, here we come!

This week has been interesting. My team played the second quarter final game against Alvik on Wednesday. We beat them in the first game at home by 39 points, so we were pretty confident that we would walk away from game two with a win. The quarter finals are a best of 3 series which means that which ever team wins two first moves on to the semi finals. It’s Alvik’s first season in Damligan, so usually rookie teams don’t really get that much support from the fans. I was not prepared for the amount of support Alvik had at our game. The game was sold out, and they had to turn fans away because there was no more room. We were far from playing at our highest potential that game. It seemed like all of our routine scorers were really struggling, so the game was close the entire way. We really had to rely on our defence and hustle in order to have a chance to win. We hit some tough shots at the end of the fourth quarter and was able to pull out a 10 point win. It was a relief to walk away with a win. Many of our players have small injuries, so not having to play the third game today was extremely important for us. Now we have time to focus on preparing to meet Northland from Luleå in the finals.
Tonight is the second episode of Gladiatorerna. The first one was really fun to watch since my twin sister Carrie was on it! This season will be filled with lots of Arrow, and there are a few more Gladiators that you haven’t seen yet. Make sure to catch tonight’s episode! You never know what you are going to see.:)
